10 Best use of white vinegar in the gardening

White vinegar is considered the best friend of gardeners.

Most people don’t know how to use effectively white vinegar to make gardening easy.

Here I mentioned 10 best uses of white vinegar in gardening.

Let’s look at them one by one.

Remove weeds

Vinegar is an acidic solution, no doubt they are harmful to growing plants. But, you can take advantage of this.

In the garden, there are a few unwanted plants that cover a spot or stand other plant’s growth. 

You can easily get rid of these unwanted plants using vinegar.

Just pour apple vinegar onto the unwanted plants or weeds and they’ll stop thriving.

Fresh flower

Do you love beautiful flowers and use them to decorate your house or office?

Everyone does but, after a few hours, these flowers fade their beauty.

  • Use white vinegar to keep these cut flowers fresh for a longer interval.
  • Fill the container with quarter water, add 1 spoon sugar, and a couple of spoon of white vinegar.
  • Dip your flower in the container, that’ll keep your flower fresh for longer hours.

Food for plants

Some plants like begonias, holly, gardenias, azaleas, rhododendrons, and hydrangeas refer to higher acidic soil to grow.

Spread 1 cup of white vinegar with a gallon of water around these plants to boost their growth. 

Prevent allergens

While gardening there is lots of dust and beactria that you touch through your hands.

Washing your hand with dilute vinegar acts like an antiseptic and prevents infection.

Wash the garden tool

Garden tools should be taken care of otherwise they catch rust. 

Dipping your gardening tool in the vinegar water long to eliminate the rust and dirt.

Slugs and snails

Spray solution of undiluted vinegar on the plant will prevent your plant from slugs and snails. 

Avoid cat

In the garden pour some distilled vinegar in the spot where cats use it as their bathroom.

Rabbit resistance

If a rabbit is often a guest in your garden and eats your precise foliage then you can get rid of them using vinegar.

Dip cotton in the distilled vinegar and place them around the hole.

Ant killer

Ants often destroy growing vegetables that you grow with lots of efforts.

To kill these vegetable eaters simply make a solution of water and vinegar in the ratio 1:1 and spray around them out the area where they come from.

Clean birdbath

Scrub the basin with a solution of distilled water and white vinegar then wash out with the water, it’s an effective way.
